SECURITY OFFICER (HOSPITALITY FOCUSED) – FIRST SHIFT

Location: Newport, RI
Schedule: Thursday through Sunday, First Shift

We are seeking a professional, hospitality-driven Security Officer to join our team at an exclusive beach club in Newport, Rhode Island. This position is ideal for individuals who understand that exceptional security starts with exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will serve as a welcoming presence for members, guests, and staff while maintaining a safe, secure, and enjoyable environment throughout the property.

Responsibilities:
Provide a professional and visible security presence throughout the club
Greet members and guests in a friendly, courteous, and welcoming manner
Monitor club grounds, facilities, and access points
Conduct routine patrols and observe for safety or security concerns
Assist members and guests with directions, questions, and general assistance
Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and service requests
Document incidents and daily activities accurately and professionally
Work collaboratively with club management and staff to maintain a positive guest experience

Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to remain calm and composed in all situations
Hospitality, security, country club, hotel, or customer service experience preferred
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
Rhode Island Security License preferred but not required
