The Key Account Support Specialist position supports key customer accounts and Regional Sales Managers through order management from intake to shipment, customer account support, reporting, pricing administration, and cross-functional coordination. The position serves as a critical link between customers, sales, operations, purchasing, and shipping to ensure a high level of customer service and execution. Success in this role requires the ability to work independently, identify issues before they become problems, and drive tasks through completion with limited supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare product usage, ranking and gap reports, sales presentation material, picture quotes and price quotes.
- Develop and distribute customer-specific reports related to order activity, fill rates, inventory positions, and sales trends.
- Analyze customer purchasing patterns, product performance, and sales trends to identify risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
- Monitor order intake, ship dates, delivery dates, fill rates and back orders. Facilitate back order shipment with stock order for warehouse.
- Acquires and maintains up to date trend info, supply projections, supply disruption potential and any other conditions affecting supply, price or supplier performance and services.
- Respond to high-volume email and customer requests while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.

s for fill rate, inventory availability, pricing accuracy, and shipment timing. - Recommend substitute products when inventory constraints or discontinued items impact customer orders.
- Maintain accurate customer account information, pricing structures, and ERP records.
- Collaborate with shipping, purchasing, sales, and operations teams to resolve customer and order issues.
- Track product samples, customer requests, and account activities.
- Assist with inbound consumer calls and email.
- Complete new item set up forms and quote up-loads as needed from Sales Management
Qualifications and Knowledge
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and EXCEL including pivot tables, lookups, filtering, data analysis, and reporting.
- Experience working within ERP systems such as Acumatica, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.
- Experience supporting customer accounts, sales teams, purchasing teams, or operations teams in a distribution, wholesale, manufacturing, or retail environment.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve problems with limited direction.
- Working knowledge and market positioning of Wilmar, LLC branded products
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience supporting major retail, distributor, or automotive accounts.
- Familiarity with the hand tool, automotive tool, hardware, industrial, or related product industries.
- Experience coordinating customer programs, promotional activities, trade shows, or sales support initiatives.
- Proficiency working with customer portals, item setup processes, pricing programs, and product data management.
- Experience using CRM, ERP, or order management systems in a sales support environment.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
