Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift, Mondy to Friday, (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)

Job Summary


Primary responsibilities for the Supervisor position include design, build, testing, validation and ongoing support for two or more Care Connect applications. The team member must possess in-depth knowledge of software functionality and must be able to quickly gain knowledge of operational workflows. In collaboration with the Care Connect leadership team and operational leaders, the Supervisor Analyst will lead initiatives to bring up new applications as well as stabilize and optimize existing Care Connect applications. The Supervisor will facilitate cross-application workgroups as needed to accomplish project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reports directly to the Manager of Clinical Applications.

  • Provides direct supervisory oversight for two or more application teams and is responsible for attaining defined project outcomes.

  • Lead major projects and/or initiatives through to successful completion with little to no oversight.

  • Lead cross-application teams.

  • Work cooperatively and effectively with operational leadership to develop and test future-state workflows.

  • Effective communication regarding build changes and project plans to end users and all levels of leadership.

  • Obtaining and maintaining Epic certification in assigned application module.

  • Participating in application design, validation, and advanced design sessions within assigned area.

  • Designing and implementing future-state operational workflows by interacting with operational department representatives to analyze needs and translate these into system design.

  • Populating master tables and system files in accordance with established guidelines; following standards for naming and numbering conventions and security classifications.

  • Testing in a structured manner and documenting testing results.

  • Following established guidelines for system change control.

  • Tracking, updating, and resolving issues.

  • Collaborating with Principal Trainers in the design and development of role-based training programs to support the workflows to be implemented.

  • Training end-users on proper use of the application.

  • Maintaining system documentation to enable ongoing support of the system.

  • Implementing approved changes based on customer-designated priorities.

  • Troubleshooting problems identified by team members and end-users.

  • Reviewing and testing new builds and releases prior to implementing in the production environment.

  • Identifying potential system enhancement needs.

  • Providing demonstrations of system functionality as necessary.

  • Application Testing:

  • Identify testing requirements for assigned application module.

  • Adjust Testing Toolkit test scripts and scenarios to adequately test expected functionality.

  • Collaborate with Testing Coordinator, peer Application Testing Coordinators, and Workgroup Coordinator to plan testing activities.

  • Update the Testing Tracker documentation to reflect testing results.

  • Identify, document, and track testing-related issues through completion.

  • Report results of testing to Project Manager and Testing Coordinator.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Has successfully led at least two major initiatives through to successful completion as a Care Connect Analyst

  • Consistently exceeded expectations as a Care Connect Analyst

  • Functional area expertise as determined by leader

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Understanding/knowledge of clinical/peripheral healthcare functions and work processes

  • Understanding of technology related to functional processes/workflow


Required Licensure/Certification Skills

  • EPIC Certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: L - Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly; requires occasional walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE: $93,000.00 - $105,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
