Sushi by Bou is a modern omakase concept defined by intimate settings, thoughtful design and an energetic atmosphere. As we expand, we are looking for talented hospitality professionals to join our team and grow with us.

Position Overview
The Host welcomes guests into the Sushi by Bou experience, managing arrivals and seating with care while helping each seating begin on schedule. The ideal candidate enjoys meeting people, communicates naturally and remains attentive as plans shift throughout service.

Pay
$10.98 per hour plus tips.

Responsibilities
Greet guests and guide them through arrival and seating.
Manage reservations, waitlists and seating assignments.
Confirm upcoming reservations and respond to inquiries.
Monitor seating times and keep guests informed of changes.
Maintain accurate notes on preferences, special occasions and requests.
Communicate reservation details and updates to the team.
Address questions and concerns with tact.
Complete opening and closing responsibilities.

Qualifications
Previous hosting experience in an upscale or fine-dining restaurant.
Genuine interest in hospitality and guest interaction.
Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent organization and ability to prioritize.
Ability to adjust as timing and service needs change.
Comfort using reservation and point-of-sale systems.
Dependable and cooperative approach.
Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
