Warehouse Forklift Operator in Pearl, Mississippi at Carolina Atlantic

The Warehouse Forklift Operator will be responsible for general warehouse responsibilities to include inventory control, loss prevention, as well as shipping and receiving documentation. Must have sit-down forklift experience, be efficient, and have a clean driving record.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Utilize a forklift to oversee the preparation of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shippedLoad and unload goods to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles in an organized and efficient mannerNotify managers of any major maintenance issues encounteredAssist with the preparation of customer orders for warehouse pickupsDemonstrate a thorough understanding and compliance with the company's safe lifting practices and standard operating proceduresEnsure that all safety procedures remain a priority by maintaining a clean and organized workspaceObtain and maintain forklift certification

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma/GED preferredMUST be a team player1+ years of prior warehouse/forklift experience requiredMust pass a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug testAbility to lift up to 75 lbs. at a timeDisciplined, dependable, and resourcefulCustomer service skills and ability to represent the company in an appropriate manner
