Job Summary:
We are seeking a Data Scientist/Analyst to develop data pipelines, machine learning models, and analytics products from large-scale data sources, including hard drive telemetry from data center deployments. The role applies data science to improve product reliability, customer support, and business decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate works end-to-end — from raw data through deployed, maintained systems — and communicates effectively with engineering, sales, executive, and customer stakeholders.

We are seeking a Data Scientist/Analyst to develop data pipelines, machine learning models, and analytics products from large-scale data sources, including hard drive telemetry from data center deployments. The role applies data science to improve product reliability, customer support, and business decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate works end-to-end — from raw data through deployed, maintained systems — and communicates effectively with engineering, sales, executive, and customer stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning models for prediction and analytics use cases, including retraining, monitoring, and evaluation
- Design and maintain automated data pipelines for large-scale data ingestion, processing, and storage across cloud and on premises environments
- Build and support interactive dashboards and automated reporting for internal teams and customers
- Develop tooling to onboard and process new data sources, both internal and customer-provided
- Work closely with engineering, quality, sales, and marketing stakeholders to formulate problem statements and deliver analytics solutions
- Respond to ad hoc data questions and analysis requests from stakeholders as they arise
- Communicate key findings to technical and business audiences, including senior stakeholders and customers
- Research and evaluate new techniques and technologies in data science and machine learning
- Maintain clear documentation and technical standards
Required Qualifications:
- M.S. or B.S. in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or equivalent
- 3 years of professional experience delivering data science or data engineering projects to production
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, as well as common Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn
- Experience with machine learning frameworks, model training, and validation
- Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google cloud)
- Experience with Git and version control workflows
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with large-scale time series or sensor data
- Comfortable working in Windows and Linux environments
- Dashboard and data product development experience
- Experience with GPU computing and on-premises ML development
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application to development and analytics workflows
- Storage industry or hardware domain knowledge
Salary Range: $99,400 - $140,000
