Job Description

Partner Success Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Partner Success Manager based in United States.

As a Partner Success Manager, you will play a central role in strengthening and scaling a strategic software partner ecosystem. You will combine relationship management, project oversight, functional enablement, and operational improvement to help implementation partners build high-performing, self-sufficient practices. The role involves partnering closely with internal customer success, alliances, enablement, engineering, and consulting teams to resolve challenges and create a seamless partner experience. You will monitor partner health, project delivery, certifications, performance, and growth while identifying opportunities to improve adoption and customer outcomes. This position is well suited to a customer-focused professional who enjoys working across multiple stakeholders and balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution. You will also have opportunities to influence partner processes, develop enablement programs, and contribute to continuous improvement across the ecosystem.

Accountabilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for implementation partners, ensuring they have access to the appropriate resources, functional guidance, and technical support.
  • Lead recurring partner status discussions, reviewing project delivery, timelines, risks, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Build trusted relationships with partners and help them successfully deliver implementations while strengthening long-term partner performance and engagement.
  • Assess partner health and develop forward-looking plans to improve capabilities, delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and growth.
  • Collaborate with Partner Alliances and internal teams such as Support, Remote Consulting, Partner Enablement, Engineering, and Customer Success to connect partners with the right resources and processes.
  • Identify delivery risks and escalate concerns regarding project timelines, implementation quality, or customer outcomes to the appropriate leadership.
  • Provide input into partner leveling and capability assessments based on implementation experience, skills, and demonstrated performance.
  • Encourage partners to establish and maintain Centers of Excellence (COEs) within their practices and ensure they use those capabilities effectively.
  • Monitor partner-led implementations, review project plans, and recommend adjustments that improve delivery efficiency and go-live success.
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and adoption through functional enablement, training, content, and targeted recommendations.
  • Review partner support cases and deliverables to identify recurring issues, capability gaps, and opportunities for proactive intervention.
  • Develop and maintain partner-facing enablement content, including learning resources, product information, new feature materials, and solution guidance.
  • Engage partners with online courses, educational content, and enablement resources to strengthen their functional capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve partner processes, proactive services, and governance frameworks to increase efficiency and reduce customer escalations.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures and project documentation that can be scaled across partner engagements.
  • Conduct gap analyses with alliance teams to strengthen partner frameworks, project management practices, and operational governance.
  • Maintain accurate project status information, documentation, reporting, and communication across multiple workstreams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Mathematics, Computer Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
  • At least 2 years of experience in project management, stakeholder management, account management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of consulting or functional account management experience supporting software implementations, particularly CPM/EPM platforms.
  • Demonstrated project, program, or account management expertise with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Prior experience in Partner Success or Customer Success is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting processes and the ability to understand and communicate functional requirements effectively.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust with partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, including the confidence to provide concise guidance and deliver constructive or difficult feedback when necessary.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple streams of work on schedule.
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve implementation or functional issues independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with SQL, C#, VB.NET, Visual Basic, or object-oriented programming is a plus.
  • Experience with scalability and performance considerations for EPM/CPM products is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Azure-based SaaS platforms and telemetry tools for monitoring EPM/CPM applications is advantageous.
  • Experience with EPM solutions such as SAP BPC, SAP BOFC, Hyperion Planning, Essbase, HFM, FDM, IBM Cognos, or comparable platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with other partner-implemented SaaS solutions such as BlackLine, Trintech, Workiva, or similar technologies is beneficial.
  • A master’s degree, MBA, accounting/finance qualification such as CPA, CMA, CGA, or CA, or relevant technology certification is preferred.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and results-oriented, with a strong desire to continuously develop functional expertise and enable others.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively while also working independently to solve complex problems.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employment sponsorship.
Benefits
  • Base salary: $99,000–$128,500 USD annually, with additional variable compensation potentially available.
  • Competitive total compensation based on experience, skills, location, and other objective job-related factors.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Life insurance.
  • Short- and long-term disability coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Paid vacation and holidays.
  • Professional development and multiple training opportunities.
  • Opportunities to work across a diverse range of projects and industries.
  • Strong collaborative culture focused on customer success and teamwork.
  • Opportunity to build strategic relationships, influence partner performance, and contribute to continuous improvement.
