This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Renewal Specialist - SaaS Contracts based in United States.
This role is responsible for driving timely, accurate, and successful renewals across a portfolio of software subscription customers.
You will work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Accounting to protect recurring revenue and identify opportunities for account expansion.
The position combines customer communication, contract coordination, commercial judgment, and meticulous attention to detail.
You will proactively engage customers well ahead of renewal dates, helping them understand their options and align subscriptions with their evolving needs.
The role is well suited to someone who enjoys a high-volume environment and wants to build deeper expertise in SaaS contracts and customer-facing operations.
You will also handle non-routine renewal situations, balancing customer success with contractual accuracy and business objectives.
Working remotely with global customers, you will play an important role in maintaining strong retention and delivering a positive customer experience.
- Proactively manage a portfolio of software subscription renewals, ensuring contracts are completed accurately and on time.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Accounting to coordinate renewals, expansions, quotes, and related documentation.
- Review customer renewal information, product usage, subscription history, and contract terms to determine appropriate renewal options.
- Engage customers well ahead of expiration dates to understand their needs, address potential risks, and support successful renewal execution.
- Educate customers on relevant subscription options based on their current usage, business priorities, and future product requirements.
- Discuss contract compliance, pricing, renewal terms, and potential expansions with customers in a clear and professional manner.
- Coordinate preparation, execution, and processing of renewal quotes and ordering documents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Identify and resolve non-standard or complex renewal situations using sound judgment while protecting customer relationships and subscription integrity.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure renewal activity, documentation, and customer information remain up to date.
- Contribute to customer success by helping customers achieve value from their subscriptions rather than simply completing contractual transactions.
- Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment with multiple priorities and competing demands.
- Ability to communicate confidently with customers about contracts, compliance, pricing, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when reviewing contracts, pricing information, and customer paperwork.
- Experience using Salesforce or another CRM platform to manage customer and commercial activity.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills, with the ability to proactively manage upcoming deadlines and renewal milestones.
- Sound judgment and problem-solving ability when dealing with non-routine customer or contract situations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused and professional approach.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Customer Success, Accounting, and other internal stakeholders.
- Willingness to work occasional non-standard or additional hours when supporting global customers during periods of high renewal volume.
