WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
The Houseperson is the backbone of the housekeeping floor. While room attendants clean, you're the one making sure they have what they need — delivering linens, moving furniture, restocking carts, cleaning common areas, and stepping in wherever the team needs an extra hand. No two shifts look exactly the same, and that variety is what makes this role such a good fit for someone who likes to stay busy, stay moving, and feel genuinely useful at the end of a shift. If you're strong, organized, and the kind of person who takes pride in a hotel that looks and runs great, we want you on our team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support room attendants by delivering supplies, moving furniture, flipping mattresses, and assisting with room quality.
- Stock and supply your cleaning cart at the start of each shift; manage linen delivery and storage.
- Clean bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, common areas, elevators, stairways, and other assigned spaces.
- Sweep, scrub, vacuum, and polish floors and surfaces throughout the property.
- Deliver guest items (rollaway beds, cribs, ironing boards, etc.) upon request.
- Replace light bulbs, remove trash, and handle other property maintenance tasks as directed.
- Communicate with front desk and supervisors via radio throughout the shift.
SKILLS & ABILITIES YOU BRING
- Physical strength and endurance — this role involves lifting up to 100 lbs and staying active for a full shift.
- Organized and detail-oriented; comfortable managing your own work flow across a property.
- Team-first attitude; always ready to assist co-workers and step into whatever the team needs.
- Ability to follow supervisor instructions accurately and consistently.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
SCHEDULE & HOURS
This position is full-time with schedules that may vary based on business need. Flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, is required. Specific shift details will be discussed during the interview process.
