Warehouse Operator - Full-Time
$18.00-$20:00 per hour
Position Summary
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for maintaining an organized warehouse and supporting the accurate movement of incoming and outgoing inventory. This role ensures products are received, stored, picked, staged, and loaded correctly while following inventory rotation procedures and maintaining a clean, orderly warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, and able to become forklift certified.
Key Responsibilities
Outgoing Orders
• Obtain pick lists from the Warehouse Administrator
• Pick and assemble customer orders accurately
• Verify inventory availability before completing orders
• Rotate inventory using first in, first out (FIFO) procedures
• Record lot codes for shipped products
• Build and optimize mixed pallets for shipment
• Clearly note and communicate contents of mixed pallets
• Stage completed orders for pickup or shipment
• Load finished orders onto trucks safely and accurately
Incoming Orders
• Obtain delivered order documentation from the Warehouse Administrator
• Collect and review packing slips and Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for each order
• Perform truck inspections upon arrival
• Inspect incoming products for accuracy and condition, prior to unloading
• Label incoming items properly after verification
• Put inventory away in the correct storage locations
Warehouse Organization and Inventory Control
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse
• Ensure product is properly staged and stored
• Keep all product and materials in their designated aisles and locations
• Make sure product is properly labeled and kept off the floor
• Receive pallets from production and wrap them as needed
• Mark pallets accurately with required information
• Understand where orders and pallets should be staged for pickup
• Maintain awareness of product locations throughout the warehouse
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy
Qualifications
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds
• Forklift certification, or the ability to become forklift certified, required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic understanding of warehouse inventory practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
