The position is fully remote and offers a customer-focused environment with opportunities to make a direct impact on franchise financial operations.

Accountabilities:
  • Provide bookkeeping and accounting services to assigned franchise business owners while maintaining consistent accounting best practices.
  • Analyze financial information related to income, expenses, assets, and liabilities to assess current and projected financial positions.
  • Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports to support business decision-making.
  • Compile and analyze financial information and prepare entries for general ledger accounts, ensuring business transactions are properly documented.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned franchise owners, building trust and maintaining open and effective communication.
  • Prepare, review, and assist with bank account reconciliations.
  • Provide guidance and support to franchise owners and staff regarding accounting software, processes, and procedures.
  • Train new franchise teams on accounting practices and applicable industry software.
  • Respond to special accounting requests and provide tailored financial support to assigned franchises.
  • Apply generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) appropriately within the business environment.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling personal, financial, and other sensitive information.
  • Manage accounting responsibilities effectively while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Accounting or General Business required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in property management accounting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting processes, bookkeeping principles, and financial reporting.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to understand and consistently meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-service orientation.
  • Ability to establish relationships, build trust, and communicate effectively with franchise owners and staff.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and accomplish objectives with minimal daily supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook, as well as email.
  • Ability and willingness to train new franchise teams on accounting processes and software.
  • Experience with AppFolio, Propertyware, or other property management software is a plus but not required.
  • Strong sense of confidentiality, professionalism, and accountability.
Benefits
  • Fully remote position within the United States.
  • Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
  • Benefits package available through the employer’s benefits program.
  • Opportunity to work directly with franchise business owners and contribute to their financial success.
  • Opportunity to develop expertise across property management accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and franchise operations.
  • Collaborative, customer-focused environment with opportunities to build long-term professional relationships.
