Restoration Operations ManagerLocation: Remote (work from home)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Our mission is to move beyond being a vendor and become a trusted restoration partner by delivering exceptional service and being the first choice for mitigation and restoration needs.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Operations Manager to lead and support our internal Project Managers and subcontracted restoration teams nationwide. This role oversees water mitigation, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, reconstruction, and other commercial restoration projects while ensuring exceptional client service, operational efficiency, and project success.The Operations Manager is responsible for managing client work orders, coordinating nationwide resources, maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLAs), developing job scopes and proposals, and ensuring projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.This is a 24/7 operational role. Incoming client work orders must be acknowledged and responded to within five (5) minutes of receipt. There are no exceptions to this expectation. As the role evolves, rotating after-hours and weekend coverage may be implemented; however, the initial and ongoing expectation is that the Operations Manager always remains available and responsive outside of approved vacation. Work Expectations & TrainingSuccessful completion of the company's required training program is a condition of employment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage inbound emergency restoration work orders from nationwide clientsRespond to new work orders immediately (within five minutes)Assign and allocate work orders to Project Managers and subcontractor partnersCoordinate restoration projects across all 50 statesMaintain daily written and verbal communication with clientsEnsure Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance and client satisfactionMonitor project progress and ensure timely completion of all deliverablesDevelop job estimates, quotes, and proposalsReview project documentation for accuracy and completenessAnalyze operational performance and financial dataSupport budgeting, forecasting, and cost management initiativesTroubleshoot operational challenges and develop effective solutionsLead, coach, and support Project Managers and subcontracted teamsMaintain accurate job records and operational documentationEnsure quality standards, safety requirements, and company procedures are followedCollaborate with internal departments to improve operational performanceDeliver exceptional customer service while managing multiple priorities simultaneouslyQualificationsRequiredHands-on restoration field experience with the ability to effectively lead field teams and Project ManagersMinimum of 5 years of operations management and/or project management experienceBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceExperience in one or more of the following industries:Commercial restorationResidential restorationInsurance claims managementGeneral familiarity of building systems and trades, including:ElectricalPlumbingHVACGeneral constructionExperience working in both field operations and office environmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong customer relationship management skillsOutstanding troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesStrong analytical, organizational, and time management skillsAbility to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based business applicationsSelf-motivated with an exceptional work ethicComfortable working remotely while managing projects nationwideAbility to thrive in an environment with changing priorities and ambiguityWillingness to maintain an "always on" operational mindset outside of scheduled vacationPreferredExperience with XactimateExperience using XactAnalysisKnowledge of commercial restoration estimating and insurance claims processesIICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) CertificationIICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD) CertificationAdditional IICRC certifications are a plusExperience coordinating subcontractors and nationwide restoration crewsFamiliarity with commercial emergency response operationsBenefitsBase salary plus commission opportunitiesMedical insuranceDental insurance401(k) with employer matchPaid Time Off (PTO)Paid holidaysCompany-provided cellphonesCompany-provided computerCompany-paid travel for required training Equal Employment OpportunityNations Dry Out is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
