What You’ll Do

• Take full ownership of the customer journey, from first greeting through confident close
• Build trust quickly by understanding customer needs, lifestyle, comfort preferences, and budget
• Deliver engaging, informative product demonstrations rooted in product knowledge and customer benefit
• Recommend complete solutions that enhance the customer’s home while driving strong sales results
• Close sales consistently while maintaining Slumberland’s commitment to integrity and transparency
• Accurately process POS transactions, special orders, and financing with attention to detail
• Maintain a clean, welcoming showroom that reflects Slumberland’s brand and standards
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and reinforce long-term relationships
• Work collaboratively with teammates and leadership to exceed individual and store goals

Experience & Skills

• Retail or commission-based sales experience strongly preferred
• Furniture, mattress, appliance, automotive, or specialty retail experience a plus
• Strong communication, closing, and objection-handling skills
• Comfort using POS systems and sales technology
• Leadership or mentoring experience is a plus
• Bilingual skills are a plus, not required
