Summary:
The Production Manager will oversee all manufacturing operations, including production planning, resource allocation, quality control, process improvement, cost management, safety compliance, and workforce leadership. This position is responsible for coordinating manufacturing employees, supporting customer requirements, improving productivity, and ensuring efficient daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop daily and weekly production schedules while determining staffing and resource requirements.
• Coordinate manufacturing activities with engineering, project management, fabrication, and production teams.
• Manage production workflows, labor utilization, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on productivity, quality, safety, and cost reduction.
• Maintain and improve quality management systems and manufacturing standards.
• Support quoting activities, cost tracking, productivity reporting, and ERP system utilization.
• Oversee facility evaluations, equipment upgrades, maintenance coordination, and operational improvements.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications.
• Promote and enforce workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Lead employee training, performance management, workforce development, and succession planning efforts.
• Develop work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process documentation.
• Manage departmental budgets and support operational planning initiatives.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure project timelines and production goals are achieved.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of production management or manufacturing leadership experience required.
• Experience managing production schedules, staffing, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with ERP systems, production reporting, and operational metrics.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience leading manufacturing teams within a fast-paced production environment.
• Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience preferred.
• CAD experience is a plus.
