Quality Inspector (QC Technician) – Aerospace – 1st Shift in Simpsonville, South Carolina at DRT Holdings, LLC

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet customer and regulatory requirements through detailed inspections and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections on castings, machined metal, and plastic components
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and 2D/3D design documentation
• Conduct first article (FAIR), first piece, and in-process inspections
• Use CMM equipment and precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, height gauges, fixtures)
• Complete 100% inspection reports and nonconformance documentation
• Program and operate CMMs for complex and repeat inspections
• Analyze inspection data and ensure compliance with AS9102 and aerospace standards
• Maintain accurate quality documentation and inspection records
• Collaborate with engineering to develop inspection methods and strategies
• Ensure all products meet customer and internal quality requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)
• Experience as a Quality Inspector, QC Technician, or QA Inspector
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection techniques
• Experience with precision measuring tools and CMM operation
• Familiarity with AS9102 FAIRs and aerospace quality standards (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality systems

• 5–10 years of aerospace or manufacturing inspection experience
• Experience as a DQR (Designated Quality Representative)
• Background in machine shop environments
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies
