Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The HR Compliance Specialist supports the integrity and accuracy of HR compliance data and contributes to the organizations overall regulatory readiness. They will work closely with HR Compliance Analysts to execute tasks with guidance and limited independent decision-making. This role focuses on data integrity, credential verification, and process efficiency within the HRIS to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditingbody requirements.
The Specialist serves as operational support to the Analyst for verifying and maintaining team member Essential Work Requirements, with a focus on licenses and certifications, performing data entry, and identifying discrepancies for followup. This role assists with documentation, record validation, and other preparatory tasks related to regulatory survey readiness.
As a developing compliance professional, the Specialist builds foundational knowledge of regulatory standards and HR compliance processes, gaining the skills necessary for progression into the Analyst role. The Specialist collaborates closely with HR Operations and Talent Acquisition to ensure accurate and timely data maintenance across compliancerelated workflows.
This position supports organizational goals by delivering quality customer service, contributing to performance improvement initiatives, and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork, accuracy, and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: N/A
EXPERIENCE:
- Human resources or electronic record management experience preferred.
- Prior Human Resources experience within the health care environment is highly desirable.
- Requires strong interpersonal and written communication skills, along with demonstrated computer proficiency, particularly in Excel, SharePoint and Adobe.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury.

REPORTING
This position reports to department leadership and may supervise incumbents as assigned.
