Job Summary: To clean all auto door parts in accordance with DCU standards.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • To load & unload power washers & tumblers with dirty parts.
  • To hand wash certain critical parts as needed.
  • To load & unload vibratory system to polish certain parts as trained.
  • To teardown & clean power washers & tumblers as scheduled by supervisor.
  • To clean washroom floors & walls when needed.
  • To power off washroom equipment when shift is over to ensure heating elements from burning out.
  • To properly dispose of grease & sludge properly.
  • To rinse & dry washed products properly to prevent rusting or spotting of cleaned parts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced & at times stressful environment.
  • Basic knowledge of working with hand tools & handheld power tools.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Be able to stand for entire shift
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Be able to work in hot climates during the summer months.
