Manufacturing Operations Specialist

Full-Time Exempt Onsite

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manufacturing Operations Specialist to support day-to-day manufacturing, production, logistics, warehouse, and sales operations. This role serves as a key operational partner to onsite leadership, helping ensure efficient workflows, accurate inventory management, timely customer support, and smooth coordination across multiple departments.

Reporting to site leadership, you'll play an important role in supporting production execution, inventory accuracy, logistics coordination, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. What You'll Do Manufacturing & Production Support
  • Provide administrative and operational support to production, sales, logistics, warehouse, quality, facilities, and leadership teams.
  • Review and support work orders, pick tickets, routings, production schedules, material labels, part orders, and drawings to help ensure accurate and timely execution.
  • Assist with production order creation and support daily manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor inventory availability and shortages to support uninterrupted production flow.
  • Support communication and coordination across departments to address operational constraints and priorities.
Inventory, Warehouse & Logistics Operations
  • Receive finished goods and materials while supporting inventory accuracy and warehouse operations.
  • Review inventory levels, shortage reports, warehouse transfers, and delivery creation activities.
  • Support material flow processes and coordinate inventory-related activities across departments.
  • Assist with logistics activities, including LAVA orders, shipment coordination, delivery updates, and maintenance of logistics tracking tools.
  • Help ensure accurate movement and tracking of materials throughout the facility.
Sales & Customer Support
  • Assist with customer quotations, sales order processing, and follow-up activities.
  • Coordinate information between sales, production, logistics, and warehouse teams to help meet customer expectations and delivery commitments.
  • Support customer service initiatives through accurate documentation and timely communication.
Operational Systems & Data Management
  • Enter, maintain, and validate operational data within SAP, SharePoint, and other company systems.
  • Manage information related to part numbers, serial numbers, model numbers, production orders, deliveries, shortages, and inventory transactions.
  • Create trailer VIN tags using VINeze and ensure supporting documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Maintain data integrity and provide administrative support for operational reporting.
Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
  • Assist with quality checks, documentation reviews, procedure audits, and process compliance activities.
  • Support initiatives that promote workplace safety, quality standards, and operational consistency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, increase efficiency, and strengthen cross-functional communication.
  • Participate in special projects and operational improvement initiatives as assigned.
Facility & Operational Resource Management
  • Maintain and order office, kitchen, safety, and operational supplies.
  • Monitor usage trends and support cost-conscious purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure teams have the tools and resources necessary to operate efficiently.
What You'll Bring Experience & Education
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing administration, production planning, assembly operations, logistics, warehouse operations, or a related operational environment.
  • Experience working within manufacturing, industrial, or production-driven organizations preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Experience with SharePoint and operational business systems preferred.
  • Ability to accurately maintain and manage operational data and reports.
Operations & Business Acumen
  • Understanding of manufacturing, production, logistics, inventory control, and warehouse processes.
  • Ability to review and support production schedules, work orders, and material requirements.
  • Experience supporting inventory management, receiving, shipping, or logistics functions preferred.
  • Ability to read part drawings and understand basic measurement methods preferred.
Communication & Work Style
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to support warehouse and production activities as needed.

Compensation & Benefits
  • $28.00-$33.00/hr
  • 11 paid Holidays
  • Generous Paid Time Off accrue up to 4 weeks per year
