- Manage an assigned portfolio of accounts while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with corporate standards, risk policies, profitability objectives, and financial controls.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of clients’ financial conditions, management performance, industry trends, and market factors to identify risks and opportunities.
- Review and manage advances and loans to ensure alignment with approved structures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Structure and underwrite modifications to existing financial arrangements and prepare recommendations for management approval.
- Ensure accurate documentation of client relationships, including required legal agreements and supporting financial materials.
- Monitor portfolio performance, minimize losses, and take proactive action to maintain healthy client relationships.
- Resolve factoring and asset-based lending service challenges while improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to improve policies, procedures, and workflows to reduce costs and enhance service delivery.
- Manage individual budgets and expenses while contributing to profitability objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support client success, financial performance, and long-term partnership growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in financial services, lending, portfolio management, structured finance, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit assessment, risk management, and lending structures.
- Experience with alternative energy, tax credits, tax equity structures, or specialized financing solutions is preferred.
- Strong customer relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to evaluate business performance, profitability, and portfolio health.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze complex situations, and make sound business decisions.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and documentation skills.
