As a Senior IT Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of device infrastructure services while ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient technology operations. You will own complex initiatives, drive automation, and partner with stakeholders across the organization to deliver reliable solutions that improve the employee experience.
- Lead the planning and execution of large-scale device infrastructure projects with broad organizational impact.
- Design, manage, and optimize cloud-based endpoint management solutions, including Apple MDM platforms and enterprise device policies.
- Drive IT change management initiatives related to endpoint management, software updates, fleet operations, and infrastructure improvements.
- Develop automation solutions using scripting, AI-powered tools, and modern infrastructure practices to reduce manual operational work.
- Implement and maintain device trust frameworks, including secure authentication, conditional access, and endpoint compliance policies.
- Own third-party software patching workflows and ensure enterprise devices remain secure, compliant, and up to date.
- Create and improve documentation, processes, policies, and operational best practices for device infrastructure services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align technology solutions with business needs.
- Participate in occasional on-call rotations to support critical incidents and maintain service reliability.
The ideal candidate is an experienced IT engineer with a strong background in cloud-based endpoint management, automation, and enterprise infrastructure. You should combine technical depth with strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex projects in a distributed environment.
- 5+ years of technical experience in IT, including 2+ years focused on IT engineering, systems administration, or cloud-first endpoint management.
- Experience managing enterprise device environments at scale, including security compliance and patch management practices.
- Strong experience with Apple MDM platforms and advanced endpoint configuration management.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and CI/CD workflows applied to device management environments.
- Professional scripting experience with Bash and other shell scripting tools for automation and fleet operations.
- Experience implementing device security principles, including phishing-resistant authentication, conditional access, and endpoint compliance controls.
- Experience designing and deploying automation solutions using AI, agentic tools, or LLM-based technologies in IT operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with IT service management and change management practices such as ITIL is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, PowerShell scripting, and enterprise password management platforms is beneficial.
- Strong project management, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving skills with a user-focused mindset.
- Competitive annual base salary ranging from $117,000 to $164,000 USD for US-based roles.
