You will act as a senior technical leader driving platform evolution across application engineering, data ecosystems, infrastructure, and analytics capabilities.

The Senior/Principal Platform Architect will own the design and evolution of the organization’s technical platform strategy, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient systems across software applications, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and AI capabilities. This role serves as a technical force multiplier, guiding engineering teams and driving architectural excellence across the organization.
- Design, evolve, and maintain enterprise platform architecture across application, data, analytics, cloud, and AI layers.
- Establish scalable architecture standards, engineering practices, and technical guidelines to support long-term growth.
- Drive modernization initiatives using cloud-native technologies and improve overall platform scalability and reliability.
- Lead the development of SaaS applications and services using modern software engineering practices.
- Design distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Develop and improve software solutions using technologies such as C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, SQL, Redis, and related frameworks.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to deliver high-impact features and optimize system design.
- Architect enterprise data platforms, including data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouse environments, and analytics ecosystems.
- Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration frameworks, data models, and governance processes.
- Support business intelligence, reporting, forecasting, analytics, and AI initiatives through reliable data foundations.
- Own cloud infrastructure strategy across development, testing, and production environments.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, automation processes, infrastructure-as-code practices, and deployment workflows.
- Enhance platform reliability through monitoring, observability, security improvements, disaster recovery planning, and cost optimization.
- Support containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native orchestration technologies.
- Collaborate with data science teams to enable AI and machine learning solutions through scalable data and infrastructure patterns.
- Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions that support future product capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship while influencing engineering decisions across teams.
The ideal candidate is a highly experienced technical professional with a strong background in software architecture, cloud platforms, data engineering, and AI enablement. They should have the ability to translate complex technical challenges into scalable solutions while collaborating effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, data engineering, data architecture, DevOps, or related technical disciplines.
- Expert-level experience building enterprise SaaS platforms using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, SQL, and Microsoft technologies.
- Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, distributed systems, microservices, and API-driven design.
- Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and Azure-native services.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms, including data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouse architectures, and analytics environments.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience optimizing complex queries, pipelines, and large-scale datasets.
- Strong experience with CI/CD, Git, automation, and modern software delivery practices.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud security, monitoring, observability, disaster recovery, and production reliability practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, data scientists, business users, and technical stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake Storage, or Azure SQL Database is preferred.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and cloud automation tools is a plus.
- Experience with Power BI data modeling, semantic modeling, analytics enablement, or performance optimization is beneficial.
- Knowledge of MLOps, AI platforms, machine learning, LLMs, Generative AI, or AI-driven automation is highly valued.
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design, event-driven architectures, Redis, Entity Framework, React, Next.js, or similar technologies is advantageous.
- Background in healthcare, workforce management, regulated environments, SOC 2, HIPAA-focused practices, or high-growth SaaS companies is preferred.
