This is an opportunity to make a visible impact in a fast-moving, global technology environment.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the global brand narrative and storytelling strategy, translating business priorities into clear, compelling external messaging.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, positioning, and messaging across content, PR, social, and executive communications.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen thought leadership, category relevance, market authority, and customer education.
  • Own the editorial strategy across thought leadership, campaigns, reports, blogs, customer stories, webinars, guides, playbooks, and other high-impact content.
  • Develop strategic briefs, editorial angles, and creative direction for agencies, freelancers, and internal contributors.
  • Oversee the development and quality of hero content while ensuring it supports both brand-building and demand-generation objectives.
  • Review externally facing and product-related content for accuracy, clarity, credibility, audience relevance, and strategic alignment.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to validate product positioning, claims, launch messaging, and customer-facing narratives.
  • Lead global social strategy, including executive social and employee advocacy initiatives, while using performance insights to improve audience engagement.
  • Manage agencies, freelancers, and AI-enabled workflows by setting priorities, providing feedback, and maintaining clear quality standards.
  • Determine which activities are best handled by internal teams, external partners, AI workflows, or the role owner, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Design, Customer Marketing, Product, Sales, and Marketing Operations to align priorities and connect campaign narratives.
  • Use content, social, and campaign performance data to identify opportunities and translate insights into practical improvements.
  • Keep the role focused on high-value strategic work while balancing competing stakeholder, regional, and campaign priorities.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial strategy, brand communications, integrated marketing, or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong editorial judgment, storytelling instincts, writing, and editing capabilities.
  • Proven experience developing and executing content strategies that support brand awareness, demand generation, customer education, and market authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to shape narratives, create strategic briefs, and guide content from concept through launch and distribution.
  • Strong understanding of brand voice, messaging, product positioning, and how communications influence business outcomes.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, technology, fintech, accounting, professional services, or a similar industry is preferred.
  • Experience managing agencies, freelancers, and other external creative or communications partners.
  • Strong familiarity with AI-enabled marketing and content workflows, including the ability to review and improve AI-generated content without compromising originality or accuracy.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder-management skills, with experience working across Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Design, Sales, Product, and Customer Marketing.
  • Ability to prioritize competing requests across teams, regions, campaigns, and business objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and convert insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Confidence balancing creative excellence with measurable business outcomes.
  • Pragmatic, hands-on approach with the ability to move between strategic planning and execution when required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence partners and stakeholders effectively in a global, distributed environment.
Benefits

  • Competitive Canadian compensation of CA$130,000–CA$150,000 annually, depending on location, experience, and skillset.
  • Remote work opportunities for eligible employees in Canada, including British Columbia and Ontario.
  • Opportunity to own high-impact global brand, content, communications, and social initiatives.
  • Significant exposure to cross-functional marketing, product, sales, customer, and design teams.
  • Opportunity to shape modern AI-enabled content workflows and influence how AI is used in marketing.
  • Collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement, teamwork, customer impact, and high-quality execution.
  • Inclusive workplace committed to equal opportunity and supporting diverse perspectives.
  • Accommodations available throughout the recruitment process where required.
