The Tipton Group is looking for a Porter/Groundskeeper to help maintain a clean, attractive, and welcoming apartment community for our residents, prospective residents, and guests.

This is a hands-on position and an important part of our property team. If you enjoy staying active, working outdoors, and being part of a team, we’d like to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

As a Groundskeeper/Porter, you’ll help keep our community looking its best every day. Your responsibilities will include:

Walk the property and maintain the overall appearance of the communityPick up trash and debris throughout the groundsKeep sidewalks, parking lots, common areas, and building exteriors cleanPerform routine custodial duties around the propertyAssist with light landscaping and general grounds upkeepHelp maintain the leasing office and surrounding areasReport maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate team memberAssist the maintenance team with general tasks and special projects as neededHelp create a clean, welcoming environment for residents and visitors

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

Dependable and ready to workAble to work independently and as part of a teamProfessional and courteous with residents, visitors, and coworkersComfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasksAble to follow directions and complete assigned tasksProud of their work and attentive to the appearance of the communityHigh school diploma or GEDSome related experience is preferred
