Driver/Technician - Ozarks HOME/DME in West Plains , Missouri at Ozarks Healthcare

1. Minimum of High School diploma
2. Preference of related experience and/or training in DME

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
2. Ability to work accurately, with interruptions to meet deadlines
3. Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
4. Ability to exercise flexibility, initiative, good judgment and discretion
5. Ability to pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
6. Must have a clean background check (No Priors)
7. Must require organizational skills
8. Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record and ability to drive at night
9. Must pass pre-hire drug screen
10. Must pass as needed/random drug screen
11. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., to push 450 lbs. of medical equipment (on wheels) up ramps, to load/unload equipment onto trucks daily, to stand/kneel/squat for extended periods of time during equipment processing

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Delivers equipment and sets it up in a timely manner
• Maintains a good knowledge of equipment and its functions
• Instructs patients in the use of equipment thoroughly, timely, and in a manner they can understand
• Prioritizes emergencies and handles all crisis situations well
• Very particular in adhering to infection control policies-cleaning, maintenance, and sterilization of equipment
• Paperwork and documentation is complete
• Knowledgeable about and performs FDA transfilling procedures
• Maintains van maintenance and care
• Maintains van organization and stocking
• Adheres to all oxygen standards and regulations
• In rotation for on call scheduled duties
• All other duties as assigned.
