Typing of reports and procedures. Answering phone and route calls appropriately. Copy, fax, and scan as needed for the department. Assist with Policy Tech. Assist with front office duties. Assists basic histology functions when needed (pulling slides/reports, filing slide blocks, labeling). Assists with QC and documentation, and temperature logs. Prepares for pathology reviews/tumor conference when requested. Maintains confidentiality of patient, client and/or company records. Participates in departmental/facility meetings and all required continuing education/EST. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
License:
Phlebotomy (preferred, but not required)
Experience:
Minimum
None
Preferred
None 1 year experience in a hospital environment/clinic or office experience
