As a Digital Fundraising & Advocacy Account Supervisor, you will lead digital fundraising, advocacy, membership, and engagement programs that help mission-driven organizations grow their supporter bases and advance meaningful causes. You will serve as a trusted client advisor, shaping strategy while overseeing the execution of complex, cross-channel digital campaigns. Your work will span email, SMS, paid advertising, organic social, websites, and other digital channels, with a strong focus on fundraising performance and supporter engagement. You will combine persuasive storytelling, data-driven decision-making, project management, and strategic thinking to improve campaign outcomes. As a senior member of client teams, you will also guide junior colleagues, strengthen internal processes, and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive working environment. - Develop and implement digital fundraising, advocacy, membership, and engagement strategies in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
- Serve as a primary client relationship manager, maintaining regular communication, leading weekly check-ins, and presenting strategy and performance recommendations in larger client meetings.
- Take overall accountability for client deliverables, ensuring projects remain aligned with objectives, deadlines, quality standards, and desired outcomes.
- Lead project management activities as needed, coordinating priorities, managing expectations, and keeping work moving across multiple contributors and teams.
- Draft and edit compelling digital fundraising and advocacy content, including email appeals, action alerts, landing pages, website content, social media copy, advertising creative, and other campaign materials.
- Oversee campaign launches across email and SMS platforms, managing implementation details and supporting quality assurance during high-volume periods.
- Develop testing strategies and analyze email, web, advertising, and social campaign data to identify actionable insights and opportunities for improved performance.
- Translate campaign results into clear recommendations and iterative strategies that can increase fundraising revenue, supporter acquisition, engagement, retention, and advocacy impact.
- Assign, review, and support the work of junior team members, providing ongoing feedback, coaching, and professional development.
- Develop systems and processes that improve knowledge sharing, innovation, collaboration, and digital fundraising effectiveness across teams.
- Help foster inclusive, respectful, and collaborative team environments through thoughtful communication and leadership.
- Maintain accurate tracking of client hours and contribute to efficient day-to-day operations and project management.
- Support integrated digital and offline fundraising strategies, including coordination with direct mail and telemarketing efforts where appropriate.
- 5–7 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years focused on digital fundraising.
- Experience managing a small-dollar online fundraising program for a nonprofit or electoral campaign, or consulting on comparable programs within an agency or consulting environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute cross-channel digital strategies spanning email, advertising, organic social, and SMS.
- Extensive experience writing and editing fundraising content, particularly email appeals, landing pages, and other direct-response creative.
- Experience integrating digital fundraising with offline direct-response channels such as direct mail and telemarketing.
- Strong understanding of digital fundraising strategy, supporter acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue generation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead meetings, establish project goals, align stakeholders, and drive initiatives toward successful outcomes.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting the professional development of junior employees or interns.
- Strong persuasive communication skills, with the ability to articulate strategic recommendations and expertise clearly in writing, on calls, and in presentations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively across multiple projects and competing deadlines.
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and logically.
- Proven ability to learn new skills and technologies quickly and adapt to evolving digital tools and campaign environments.
- Strong project-management and problem-solving skills, including the ability to break complex initiatives into manageable steps and develop practical solutions to obstacles.

- Experience developing direct-response advertising creative is preferred but not required.
- Experience with integrated fundraising campaigns involving programmatic display or video, paid social, and/or paid search is a plus.
- Previous experience in an agency or consulting environment is advantageous.
- $100,000 USD annual salary, with a transparent, non-negotiable compensation structure.
