The job duties, responsibilities, and requirements outlined above may be adjusted based on institutional needs. Bluefield University reserves the right to reassign roles or modify job expectations as necessary.
Adjunct Pay Scale1. If a 3-credit course has between 2 and 3 students, the instructor will be paid:
a. $600 per course
b. 1 enrolled student – Independent Study rate of $100 per credit hour
2. If a 3-credit course has between 4 and 6 students, the instructor will be paid:
a. $1,200 per course
3. If a 3-credit course has between 7 and 22 students, the instructor will be paid:
a. $1,900
4. If a 3-credit course has 23 to 30 students, then the instructor will be paid:
a. $2,200
5. If a 3-credit course exceeds 30 students, the instructor will be compensated at $2,200
plus $80 per additional student in a course above 30
