  • Evaluate emerging technologies, alternative data sources, and external vendors, developing business cases for capabilities that can enhance risk management and decisioning.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing analytics organization while fostering innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Master’s degree or higher in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative discipline.
  • 12+ years of experience managing credit risk, particularly within personal lending or credit card environments.
  • Deep expertise in consumer credit and fraud risk management, with strong commercial and business judgment; experience with loss forecasting is highly valued.
  • 7+ years of people leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to build, mentor, motivate, and retain high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of credit strategy frameworks, underwriting, pricing, verification, portfolio analytics, risk appetite, and data-driven decisioning.
  • Experience applying machine learning, AI, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies to credit or fraud risk challenges.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain sophisticated analytical and technical concepts clearly to executives, investors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to operate effectively across diverse teams and viewpoints in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Business-owner mentality, strong strategic thinking, and the ability to balance innovation with disciplined risk management.
  • Demonstrated agility in fast-paced environments, including the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and respond confidently to unfamiliar or complex questions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote collaboration with in-person engagement.
