Job Description

Product Operations Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Operations Lead based in the United States.

This is a high-visibility product operations leadership role within a mission-driven healthcare technology environment.
You will own the operational engine across Product and Engineering while helping shape how R&D works in an AI-enabled future.
The role combines company-wide roadmapping, performance management, process optimization, and cross-functional leadership.
You will also spearhead an AI-driven transformation of the software development lifecycle, introducing new tools, workflows, and operating models.
Working across engineering, product, design, and executive leadership, you will influence major initiatives without relying on direct authority.
The ideal candidate is both a strategic operator and a hands-on builder who thrives in ambiguity, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
This is an opportunity to directly influence how teams operate, innovate, and ultimately deliver better outcomes in healthcare.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the overall strategy and operational framework across Product and Engineering, establishing performance targets, monitoring outcomes, and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Own the AI-enabled software development lifecycle transformation across R&D, advancing a model in which team members and AI agents can independently take initiatives from idea through near-completion.
  • Develop and manage the roadmap for the AI SDLC transformation, including foundational context, tooling, agents, skills, workflows, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Lead organizational change management, helping engineers, product leaders, designers, and other stakeholders adopt new AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Continuously refine the AI transformation roadmap based on experimentation, team feedback, operational data, and lessons learned.
  • Facilitate the company-wide product roadmapping process, including structured input collection, roadmap planning, cross-team dependency management, OKR alignment, and communication of roadmap priorities.
  • Manage the Solution Development Lifecycle across key products and solutions, coordinating launches, tracking experiments, and ensuring teams maintain high-quality documentation.
  • Serve as an initial operational point of contact for Product on company-wide initiatives such as onboarding, knowledge management, and employee growth and development.
  • Lead and coordinate strategic meetings involving Product, Engineering, and cross-functional leadership, ensuring decisions, priorities, and follow-up actions are clearly established.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and redesign processes, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency, accountability, and team effectiveness.
  • Establish meaningful operational metrics and reporting mechanisms that turn performance data into actionable insights and support better decision-making.
  • Step into execution gaps when necessary, working hands-on with teams to solve problems and maintain momentum on critical initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience initiating or driving an AI-enabled software development lifecycle transformation or comparable AI-driven operational change.
  • Hands-on fluency with coding agents, agentic workflows, and modern AI tools, with a demonstrated willingness to experiment with AI both professionally and personally.
  • Strong change management capabilities, with the ability to influence and mobilize engineers, product leaders, designers, and other cross-functional stakeholders without relying on formal authority.
  • Strong product or R&D operations experience, including defining metrics, monitoring performance, identifying insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional adaptability and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to evolve processes, address bottlenecks, and respond effectively to changing operational needs.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, particularly when coordinating complex, company-wide initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the executive presence and professionalism required to work with senior leaders, customers, partners, and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to operate autonomously, take ownership, and move initiatives forward in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments.
  • Hands-on, collaborative mindset with a willingness to step into execution and help teams solve problems when needed.
  • Product management experience is a plus.
  • Project management certification is a plus.
  • Experience in healthcare technology is a plus.
Benefits:
  • Salary: $150,000–$200,000 USD, with compensation determined by factors including location, skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
  • Equity: Employee stock option awards as part of the overall compensation package.
  • Time off: Open Paid Time Off policy.
  • Family support: Paid parental leave.
  • Professional development: Opportunities and support for ongoing learning and career development.
  • Wellness: Wellness stipend to support employee well-being.
  • Technology: Technology stipend to support effective remote work and productivity.
  • Referral program: Generous employee referral bonus.
  • Work environment: Remote role with the opportunity to collaborate across Product, Engineering, Design, and executive leadership.
  • Mission: Opportunity to help transform healthcare operations through AI, machine learning, and innovative technology.
  • Additional conditions: Benefits and perks are subject to applicable plan documents and may change.
