Friday Services is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to support our client, a family entertainment venue in Arden. This leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating exceptional guest experiences, developing teams, and overseeing daily operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
As the Assistant General Manager, youll partner with ownership to drive operational excellence, lead a team of 30+ employees, and help ensure a safe, clean, and engaging environment for guests and staff alike.
ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team DevelopmentAssist with the day-to-day management of park operations
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 30+ employees
Support recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling, and employee development
Foster a positive, team-oriented workplace culture
Assist with performance management and employee relations
Deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable guest experiences
Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently
Continuously identify opportunities to improve operations and customer satisfaction
Oversee opening and closing procedures
Serve as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts
Ensure attractions, facilities, and equipment are clean, safe, and operating properly
Monitor workplace safety and ensure compliance with company standards
Oversee food service operations to maintain quality, consistency, and sanitation
Ensure compliance with health, safety, labor, and operational regulations
Maintain cash handling and reconciliation procedures
Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors
Maintain safety inspection logs, incident reports, and operational documentation
Respond to guest communications in a timely and professional manner
Support licensing, certifications, and regulatory compliance
Ensure facility technology and operational systems are functioning properly
Support marketing initiatives and community outreach
Assist with planning and staffing special events
Help coordinate promotional appearances and community engagement opportunities
Previous management or supervisory experience in hospitality, entertainment, retail, restaurant, or a related customer service environment
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
Proficient with point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications
