Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, direct, and support the daily activities of the Maintenance team.
  • Assign and prioritize work orders based on urgency, member impact, facility needs, and available resources.

  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
  • Train and develop maintenance team members and help identify areas where additional training is needed.
  • Hold team members accountable for completing assigned work and following established procedures.
  • Communicate regularly with the Facilities Director regarding completed work, outstanding issues, major repairs, and upcoming maintenance needs.
  • Support special events, projects, renovations, and other facility needs as directed.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in commercial, hospitality, resort, club, hotel, or facility maintenance preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide direction to others.
  • Must be comfortable performing physical maintenance work, including lifting, climbing ladders, working in mechanical spaces, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is more than someone who can simply assign work. We are looking for a leader who understands maintenance and knows how to get things done.

You should be someone who:

  • Takes ownership of problems rather than waiting to be told what to do.
  • Can look at a piece of equipment that isn't working and methodically determine why.
  • Determine when a repair can be handled in-house and when a professional contractor is needed.
  • Take pride in the quality of their work.
  • Organize a team without having to micromanage.
  • Communicate well with employees, management, contractors, and members.
  • Is dependable and follows through.
  • Is willing to jump in and help the team when the workload requires it.
  • Understands that maintaining a private club is about more than fixing things—it is about providing a safe, clean, reliable, and exceptional experience for our members and guests.
