Amazing opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor at a gorgeous, luxury community located in Westfield, Indiana. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee a staff of two Maintenance Specialists.
Job Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring resident satisfaction by addressing service requests promptly and maintaining high property standards. Responsibilities include all general repair, preventative maintenance, preparing vacant units for new residents, and managing property upkeep. The Maintenance Supervisor collaborates with team members to provide an exceptional customer service experience for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders initiated by residents or the Property Director.
- Fabricate parts as needed to support maintenance tasks and repairs.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and electrical connections.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to address facility maintenance needs effectively.
- Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents.
Requirements
- HVAC troubleshooting and ability to make repairs.
- Repair and maintenance of simple electrical circuits, switches, outlets and lighting fixtures.
- Appliance troubleshooting.
- Basic to moderate plumbing knowledge. (demonstrated ability to repair/install water heaters, dishwashers, lavatories, etc.)
- Ability to prioritize workload based on the needs of the business.
- Possess a high degree of accountability and takes ownership of work completed.
- Strong desire to work collaboratively as a team to reach established goals.
- EPA Certification is required.
- Valid Indiana Driver's License,
