You will build trusted relationships with customers at multiple organizational levels, from plant and maintenance leaders to managers and engineers.
The position combines new equipment sales, account development, aftermarket opportunities, and strategic territory management.
You will become deeply knowledgeable about customer operations, equipment usage, production environments, and maintenance needs to identify valuable growth opportunities.
Working closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams, you will manage a healthy pipeline and ensure successful execution from opportunity through delivery.
The role is highly customer-facing, with significant travel required to maximize in-person engagement, demonstrations, and business development.
This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated, organized sales professional who thrives on achieving ambitious goals and developing long-term customer partnerships.

Accountabilities
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with customers, prospects, and active accounts across multiple levels, including complex managers, plant management, maintenance managers, and engineering teams.
  • Build deep knowledge of the active customer base, including existing equipment, production processes, maintenance practices, and evolving business needs.
  • Promote and sell the full range of equipment solutions within the assigned territory, including complete new equipment lines, replacement equipment, spare parts, and services associated with equipment sales.
  • Develop and execute a structured customer communication and territory travel plan designed to maximize face-to-face engagement and identify new opportunities.
  • Partner with sales leadership to develop corporate-level plans, territory growth strategies, and account development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information in the CRM, ensuring a healthy and actionable sales pipeline.
  • Identify and coordinate opportunities for customer demonstrations, both at customer facilities and designated demonstration locations.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing equipment portfolios and introduce new products and solutions to customers.
  • Promote aftermarket programs, consumable parts, equipment services, and other value-added offerings across the existing customer base.
  • Collaborate with research and development and service teams to support customer demonstrations and address customer requirements.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and logistics teams throughout sold projects to ensure smooth execution and strong customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with service teams to coordinate sold items and identify additional service and aftermarket opportunities.
  • Support additional commercial and customer initiatives as required by leadership.
Requirements
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in capital equipment sales or a closely related B2B sales environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop long-term customer relationships and manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and growing a defined sales territory, including prospecting, account development, pipeline management, and opportunity conversion.
  • Experience using CRM platforms to maintain customer information, track opportunities, and manage sales pipelines.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or comparable Google Workspace applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, technical teams, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong customer relationship management and consultative selling capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams while also taking ownership and leadership of assigned initiatives.
  • Highly goal-oriented and motivated by achieving sales and growth targets.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer relationships and opportunities simultaneously.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively as required to support sales efforts, customer meetings, demonstrations, and territory development, with approximately 75–80% travel expected.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with sales, service, engineering, production, logistics, and other internal teams.
Benefits
  • Full-time opportunity supporting a defined U.S. sales territory.
  • Remote work opportunity within the United States.
  • Significant autonomy in managing customer relationships, territory strategy, and sales activities.
  • Opportunity to drive new equipment sales while developing recurring aftermarket and service opportunities.
  • High level of customer interaction and exposure to operational, technical, and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborative environment involving sales, engineering, service, production, logistics, and other specialized teams.
  • Opportunity to contribute directly to territory growth, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.
  • Travel-based role offering extensive exposure to customers and industrial operations.
