You will also contribute to technical standards, code quality, troubleshooting, and the mentorship of junior team members.
This is a remote opportunity for an experienced Salesforce professional seeking to apply modern AI capabilities to high-impact government missions.

Accountabilities:

  • Ground AI agents in enterprise data sources to improve response relevance, accuracy, and contextual understanding.
  • Test, evaluate, troubleshoot, and continuously refine Agentforce performance based on results and stakeholder feedback.
  • Lead or contribute to technical design sessions and translate complex business requirements into effective Salesforce architectures and implementations.
  • Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle, including solution design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
  • Build efficient, maintainable, and performant code in accordance with Salesforce development standards and industry best practices.
  • Integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems and external platforms using appropriate integration patterns and technologies, including REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Conduct code reviews and promote high standards for code quality, security, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Diagnose and resolve Salesforce application issues, performance problems, and integration defects in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, project managers, developers, administrators, QA teams, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, Agentforce capabilities, emerging AI technologies, and industry trends, recommending opportunities to improve solutions and development practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
Requirements:

  • An interim Secret security clearance or higher is required.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Salesforce platforms in Department of Defense (DoD) environments.

  • 3–5 years of experience working with OmniScript and FlexCards, including the ability to lead technical design sessions.
  • At least 3 years of experience developing Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages.
  • Full-stack engineering experience, including database development and integration, with at least 3 years deploying Salesforce enterprise applications into production.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to translate complex requirements into efficient technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must successfully complete applicable pre-employment requirements.
