Sangre de Cristo Community Care is seeking a Full-Time Bereavement Coordinator to join our compassionate and dedicated team in Pueblo, Colorado. As Southern Colorado’s leader in supportive and end-of-life care, we are committed to enhancing quality of life and preserving dignity through expert symptom management, emotional support, and genuine compassion.
Position Overview:
The Bereavement Coordinator provides grief support and education to individuals, families, and groups experiencing anticipatory grief, coping with serious illness, or navigating loss after death. This role includes conducting comprehensive bereavement assessments, facilitating support groups, and offering community education. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM.
Candidates must possess excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities, with the flexibility to work both daytime and evening hours. Experience in public speaking and leading support groups is essential.

Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting
- Willingness to become a Certified Grief Educator
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
