Job Description
Seeking an experienced and motivated Tower Foreman to lead and oversee tower crews on wireless infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of tower operations at both the tower top and ground level, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. This role includes supervising crew members, coordinating daily tasks, enforcing safety protocols, and serving as the primary point of contact on-site. The position requires travel and close coordination with project partners, to ensure timelines and project objectives are met.
Responsibilities
· Lead, supervise, and support tower crews in all phases of wireless tower work, including tower top and ground operations
· Serve as the on-site lead responsible for daily job planning, task assignments, and crew productivity
· Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and client requirements
· Conduct and document daily Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), toolbox talks, and site safety inspections
· Oversee installation, maintenance, modification, and removal of wireless equipment, mounts, lines, and antennas
· Verify proper rigging, hoisting, grounding, and fall-protection practices are followed at all times
· Coordinate with project managers, clients, and partner organizations (including Inland Cellular) to meet project timelines and expectations
· Maintain accurate job documentation, including work reports, material usage, and issue tracking
· Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members, promoting skill development and adherence to safety standards
· Perform quality control checks to ensure workmanship meets company and client specifications
· Travel to job sites as required and ensure readiness of tools, vehicles, and equipment
Requirements:Qualifications
· Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in wireless tower construction, maintenance, or related field
· Prior leadership or foreman experience supervising crews is strongly preferred
· Proficiency in tower climbing, rigging, hoisting, and tower-top and ground-level operations
· Strong working knowledge of OSHA safety standards, fall protection, and RF safety
· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, scopes of work, and equipment specifications
· Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to lead by example
· Ability to work in outdoor environments, at heights, and in varying weather conditions
· Willingness and ability to travel as required
· Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements
Work Experience/Certifications/Licenses
· High School Diploma or GED (Required)
· Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License
and reliable transportation to and from work
· Three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent
· DOT Eligible
· Climbing Certification
· Fall Protection & Rescue Training Certificate
· OSHA 10-Hour Certificate
· First Aid & CPR Certificate
· RFS and PPC Certifications
· Sweep & PIM Certificate
