Job Description

Description:

LUV Car Wash was founded in Sept of 2021, and we have rapidly grown to over 80 locations in 6 states, including CA, NV, FL, GA, PA, and NJ. We are looking to add a AI Specialist to our growing team to help us continue our mission to become the best car wash in the industry.

About the Role

LUV Car Wash is looking for a curious, technically capable AI Specialist to help identify and implement AI-driven efficiencies across our business. This role isn't about supporting one team — it's about finding where artificial intelligence and automation can meaningfully improve how we operate across Operations, HR, Finance, Marketing, and Damage Claims. You'll work directly with department leaders to understand pain points, then research, prototype, and help deploy AI tools and workflows that save time, reduce errors, and improve decision-making.

This is a hands-on, high-visibility opportunity for someone who wants real-world experience applying AI to operational business problems — not just theory.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with department head leaders to analyze business processes and evaluate AI-powered tools that can identify trends and opportunities for operational improvement. Including, but not limited to:

Operations

  • Identify repetitive or manual processes (scheduling, reporting, inventory, quality checks) that could be automated or AI-assisted.
  • Help build dashboards or tools that surface real-time operational insights for GMs, DMs, and District Operations (DO) leadership.

HR

  • Support AI-assisted approaches to recruiting, candidate screening, and talent assessment analysis.
  • Support sourcing, recruiting analytics, and talent acquisition process improvements using AI-enabled tools.

Finance

  • Explore AI applications for expense tracking, forecasting, or anomaly detection in financial data.
  • Analyze business data and evaluate AI-powered tools that can identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Support AI-driven customer insights, content generation, or campaign performance analysis.
  • Help test tools that improve membership growth or customer retention strategies.

Damage Claims

  • Help design or evaluate AI tools that speed up claims intake, documentation review, and identify claim trends, recurring root causes, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support efforts to reduce claim resolution time and improve accuracy.
Requirements:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field required; advanced degree a plus

Experience

• Professional experience applying AI/ML or data analytics tools to real business problems

• Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with multiple departments (e.g., Operations, HR, Finance, Marketing)

• Experience building or deploying AI-powered tools, dashboards, or automation workflows in a live business environment

• Multi-location or multi-site business experience is a plus (retail, franchise, or service-industry background especially relevant)

Technical Requirements

• Proficiency with AI/ML concepts and hands-on tools (e.g., Python, prompt engineering, LLM APIs, no-code/low-code AI platforms)

• Working knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar)

• Familiarity with automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make, or similar) is a plus

• Ability to evaluate, vet, and recommend third-party AI tools and vendors

Core Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with ambiguous, undefined problems

• Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders across departments

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously

• Self-starter who can independently drive projects from idea to implementation

• Strong business acumen — able to connect AI capabilities to real operational and financial outcomes

• Discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive data across HR, Finance, and Damage Claims functions
