Drilling Leadman - RDI in Houston, Texas at Sterling Construction Company, Inc.

Looking for a new challenge in the foundation drilling industry? We're seeking an experienced Drilling Leadman to join our team and oversee crew work assignments while meeting production goals set by the superintendent. As a Leadman, you'll play a crucial role in our foundation drilling projects.

Responsibilities and abilities of the Drilling Leadman include:

• Aligning the crane or drill truck with the drill shaft, working closely with drillers.

• Maintaining the safety perimeter and ensuring boundaries are maintained.

• Drilling the hole to the required depth.

• Setting the rebar to grade and pouring concrete to grade.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience as a foundation drilling Leadman.

• At least 2 years of experience in the foundation drilling industry.

• Experience with crane and/or truck rigs is required.

• Ability to work safely under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to a changing environment.

• Ability to handle physical tasks such as bending, climbing, lifting (up to 75lbs), and standing for extended periods.

• Good eye-to-hand coordination and depth perception.

• High School diploma/GED preferred.

• Flexible availability to work overtime and weekends.

• Ability to communicate clearly and listen actively.
