Compensation: $23- $28/hour (Based on experience) Full-time

Join our dynamic team at Quadrant Health Group! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Group Facilitator to support our growing virtual behavioral health programs. The Group Facilitator provides direct clinical group services across the organization’s virtual Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Programs. This position is responsible for facilitating engaging, structured, and clinically appropriate group sessions that support clients in achieving their treatment and recovery goals. All services are delivered via telehealth, with appropriate clinical documentation completed in Kipu EMR. The facilitator will lead sessions scheduled Monday through Thursday, between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM CST. We may introduce additional sessions or expand programming as organizational requirements evolve and facilitator schedules permit.

What You'll Do:

The Group Facilitator is responsible for creating a supportive and therapeutic virtual group environment. The facilitator will lead process-oriented and psychoeducational groups, encourage meaningful client participation, utilize evidence-based interventions, and communicate appropriately with the clinical team regarding client progress, concerns, and safety needs.

  • Facilitate scheduled virtual group therapy sessions across Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Programs.
  • Lead both process-oriented and psychoeducational groups based on established program curriculum and treatment goals.
  • Create and maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive therapeutic group environment.
  • Encourage active participation and meaningful engagement from clients throughout group sessions.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions and group facilitation techniques appropriate to the population and level of care.
  • Provide education and therapeutic support related to mental health, substance use, recovery, coping skills, emotional regulation, relationships, communication, relapse prevention, and other clinically relevant topics.
  • Monitor client participation, engagement, presentation, and progress during group sessions.
  • Identify and appropriately communicate safety concerns, significant changes in presentation, clinical deterioration, or other concerns requiring follow-up by the treatment team.
  • Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and other members of the clinical team to support continuity of care.
  • Complete timely and accurate group documentation in Kipu EMR following each client encounter and in accordance with program requirements.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and uphold confidentiality and HIPAA requirements throughout all virtual interactions.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, supervision, training, documentation reviews, and quality improvement activities as required.
  • Maintain a private, confidential, and professional environment suitable for telehealth service delivery.
  • Maintain reliable internet and technology sufficient for consistent virtual group facilitation.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to facilitate groups across different virtual programs, schedules, and levels of care as organizational needs require

What You'll Bring:

Group Facilitator Qualifications:

  • Experience working in mental health, behavioral health, substance use treatment, social services, or a related field.
  • Previous experience facilitating group therapy, support groups, psychoeducational groups, or other behavioral health groups strongly preferred.
  • Availability to facilitate virtual groups Monday through Thursday from 6:00 PM–8:00 PM CST, with potential for additional group hours as program needs and availability allow.
  • Strong understanding of mental health and/or substance use disorders and the challenges individuals may experience throughout treatment and recovery.
  • Ability to effectively facilitate engaging, structured, and supportive virtual group sessions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish appropriate professional boundaries with clients.
  • Ability to manage group dynamics, encourage participation, and maintain a safe and respectful group environment.
  • Comfortable discussing topics related to mental health, substance use, recovery, coping skills, emotional regulation, relationships, communication, and relapse prevention.
  • Ability to recognize and appropriately communicate client safety concerns, significant changes in presentation, or other concerns to the clinical team.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to complete accurate and timely group documentation.
  • Experience working in a virtual or telehealth environment preferred.
  • Experience with electronic medical records; Kipu EMR experience preferred.
  • Successful completion of a background check.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Additional education, training, certifications, or coursework in mental health, behavioral health, substance use treatment, counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is preferred but not required
