Summary/Objective
Liner Specialists perform general duties in the Liner Manufacturing shop with focus on quality and efficiency. Duties can include setup of machines, properly reading measuring tools, moving around inter-departmental, filling customer orders promptly, working closely with supervisor or team lead, and general housekeeping.

Essential Functions

  • Operate assigned machines in order to ensure correct dimensions of liners
  • Ensure exact measurements while making liners
  • Complete work orders to specific directions
  • Operate basic hand tools and powered hand tools, e.g., grinders, drills, etc.
  • Ensure all safety guards are in place at all times of operation
  • Handle raw materials - within the shop and outdoors as required
  • Perform work safely and follow established work procedures
  • Report equipment that requires servicing or repair
  • Perform regular housekeeping duties
  • Perform general duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Temperature is varied to the temperature outside due to open doors and garages.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items 50 pounds unassisted. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position during the second shift of the workday, normally Monday-Friday 3:00PM-11:30PM

Travel
No travel is expected for this position

Required Education and Experience

  • Minimum of a high school education or GED equivalent
  • One year manufacturing production experience
  • Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and do basic math
