Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring a German (DaF) Language Teacher to provide in-person, customized lessons to our client in Reinach.

Job Information:

Ref. # 198402

• Student: A 7-year-old child
• Location: Lessons are to be held at the student's home (Rainenweg, 4153 Reinach)
• Availability: Daily lessons from June 20 to July 10 (5 x week for 1-1.5 hour). After July 10, less intensively, 2 times a week. **If you cannot make 5 x week, please let us know what days and times you are available.**
• Current German level: High beginner (has had 50+ hours previously)
• Native language: Bulgarian
• Student's language needs and goals: Use summer holiday break to practice conversation in a fun and engaging, playful way

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in German
• Degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field
• Minimum of two years' teaching experience
