- Collect, structure, process, and analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Develop and support statistical analyses, including descriptive and inferential approaches, to address complex business problems.
- Translate business needs into analytical requirements by engaging with stakeholders and collaborating with development and engineering teams.
- Build, train, and validate computer vision and deep learning models applied to industrial and operational use cases.
- Contribute to the deployment and maintenance of machine learning models in production environments.
- Work on continuous improvement of data pipelines, model performance, and analytical methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or related fields.
- Solid understanding of computer vision concepts and prior hands-on experience in CV-based projects.
- Strong programming skills in Python, including knowledge of best practices (PEPs) and key data science/deep learning libraries.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist working on development, training, and deployment of computer vision models.
- Experience with frameworks such as PyTorch and tools such as YOLO is required or highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ML lifecycle tools such as MLflow, Databricks, Git, ONNX, and OpenShift AI is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
