You will contribute to the design and evolution of data pipelines, ensuring seamless ingestion, transformation, and delivery of data across multiple systems. You will play a key role in improving data quality, optimizing pipeline performance, and supporting the migration toward more scalable data architectures. - Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources into data warehouse environments.
- Implement and monitor data quality frameworks, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability across datasets.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data models, schemas, and documentation to ensure consistency and usability.
- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot data issues, and ensure timely resolution of incidents affecting data flows.
- Support the evaluation and adoption of new data tools, technologies, and best practices within the data engineering ecosystem.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation efforts, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to improve team capabilities.
- Assist in data governance efforts, including policies, standards, and procedures to ensure responsible data usage.
- Support migration and optimization of legacy pipelines toward more scalable and efficient architectures.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles within data-intensive environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Java for data processing and pipeline development.
- Solid experience with SQL and relational database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL/ELT methodologies.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Apache Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data quality and validation.
- Experience using Git for version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams across data, engineering, and analytics.
- Strong communication skills and ability to document and explain technical solutions clearly.
