Job Description
This role focuses on providing broad legal support across commercial, compliance, litigation, M&A, integration, and legal operations. The Sr. Legal Counsel will balance business goals with legal risk management while helping build scalable legal processes and internal support programs with a core focus on operations and technology.

Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Contracting and Deals: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, ensuring business objectives and legal protections align.
- Compliance: Help to oversee compliance programs and implement training for internal teams to uphold regulatory and legal obligations.
- Litigation Support: Collaborate with external counsel on active litigation, guide internal litigation support, and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
- M&A and Integration: Play a pivotal role in due diligence, transaction documentation, and post-merger integration activities.
- Legal Operations: Develop and manage workflows to streamline our legal processes, from matter management, contract lifecycle management, to budgeting and vendor relations.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience at a public company legal department or equivalent in-house experience preferred.
Skills and Attributes:
- The ability to recognize true risk and navigate your business partners to practical solutions.
- The ability to close deals quickly, efficiently, and in a way that promotes the legal team as a strategic asset to the company.
- Proven ability to see projects through from concept to completion. Proactive self-starters will thrive here.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and consensus across different teams.
- Detail oriented yet flexible enough to adapt in a fast paced, evolving environment.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial contracting, corporate governance, and compliance.
- Confident communication style. Clear, concise, and comfortable delivering messages to senior leadership.
- Creativity in problem-solving. We want someone who can bring fresh ideas to the table.
