Activities Director – Senior Living
$48,000–$58,000/year | Full-Time
Mountain Vista Senior Living Community

Mountain Vista Senior Living Community is seeking a compassionate and creative Activities Director to lead engaging programs that enrich the lives of our residents. This is a full-time leadership opportunity for someone who is passionate about creating meaningful experiences and fostering a vibrant community atmosphere.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, coordinate, and lead engaging recreational, social, educational, and wellness programs for residents
  • Create meaningful opportunities that promote physical, emotional, cognitive, and social well-being
  • Develop monthly activity calendars and coordinate special events, outings, and celebrations
  • Work with residents across all levels of care, including independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing
  • Encourage resident participation and build programs based on resident interests and preferences
  • Maintain required documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident quality of life
  • Recruit, train, and supervise activity volunteers as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Activity Director Certification required
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Minimum of one year of experience planning, organizing, and leading recreational or activity programming
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills
