Amazon E-Commerce Specialist, Consumer Products

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Amazon E-Commerce Specialist, Consumer Products based in the United States.

This role will drive the strategy, execution, and ongoing optimization of an expanding Amazon consumer products portfolio.
You will partner closely with product managers, marketers, designers, and operations teams to launch products successfully and maximize their performance.
The position combines hands-on Amazon channel management with strategic input across product launches, content, advertising, discoverability, and conversion.
You will use performance data and marketplace insights to identify opportunities, solve channel issues, and continuously improve results.
A strong focus on catalog accuracy, inventory availability, and operational execution will help protect both customer experience and revenue.
The role is well suited to an analytical, proactive e-commerce professional who enjoys working across multiple teams in a fast-moving environment.
You will also help establish scalable Amazon processes and best practices that strengthen long-term channel growth.

Accountabilities
  • Serve as a strategic and tactical Amazon partner to product managers and marketers, supporting go-to-market strategies, launch planning, listing architecture, content readiness, keyword targeting, advertising, and ongoing product optimization.
  • Establish and maintain accurate Amazon product catalogs, including ASINs, product attributes, categories, browse nodes, identifiers, variations, and other catalog data.
  • Troubleshoot suppressed, duplicated, merged, inaccurate, or otherwise problematic product listings and coordinate timely resolutions.
  • Partner with marketers and designers to develop and optimize product detail pages, A+ Content, brand assets, titles, bullets, descriptions, and other merchandising elements to improve discoverability and conversion.
  • Conduct keyword, search, and competitive research to identify priority terms and opportunities for organic visibility across product listings and content.
  • Support Amazon advertising strategy by identifying opportunities and helping develop, launch, monitor, and refine campaigns in alignment with product launches, seasonality, inventory levels, profitability, and growth objectives.
  • Analyze sales, traffic, conversion, search, and advertising performance to identify trends and translate insights into actionable optimization recommendations.
  • Optimize product pages, keywords, bids, budgets, targeting, and campaign structures based on performance data and evolving marketplace conditions.
  • Monitor inventory availability, weeks of cover, Buy Box status, and other relevant signals, proactively escalating risks and working with Operations to resolve stockouts, receiving issues, and availability challenges.
  • Monitor marketplace health, policy developments, and emerging Amazon capabilities while identifying opportunities to improve channel performance.
  • Build repeatable processes for product launches, catalog management, and ongoing optimization, sharing Amazon insights and best practices across teams.
  • Manage large-scale catalog updates through Vendor Central's Excel-based workflows, navigating complex templates and API-related requirements effectively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of e-commerce or digital marketing experience, including substantial hands-on responsibility for the Amazon channel.
  • Demonstrated experience with Amazon Vendor Central and a strong understanding of consignment supply models; Seller Central experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Ads, Brand Registry, A+ Content, catalog management, and product detail page optimization.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute Amazon go-to-market strategies for new products and optimize performance after launch.
  • Experience with keyword research, search optimization, competitive analysis, and Amazon analytics or advertising platforms.
  • Strong analytical judgment and the ability to interpret sales, traffic, conversion, search, and advertising data and turn findings into clear recommendations.
  • Strong project management and follow-through skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple product launches and priorities across cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborative and service-oriented approach, with the ability to advise product managers and marketers while respecting their ownership and business objectives.
  • Experience working with books, publishing metadata, ISBNs, or a broader consumer products portfolio.
  • Strong spreadsheet skills and comfort managing complex Excel-based catalog templates and large-scale data workflows.
  • Proactive, responsive, and adaptable approach to resolving marketplace, catalog, and inventory issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Genuine interest in understanding and supporting a Catholic audience, mission, and consumer product portfolio.
  • Ability to demonstrate humility, passion, integrity, and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to the organization's headquarters in Exton, Pennsylvania.
