JOB SUMMARY:
Come join the team! The Youth Programs Intern will work as a member of the Youth Programs Department during the 2026–27 Utah Jazz season. As a part-time employee, the intern will support the growth and operation of the Lady Notes girls basketball program, Jazz Bantam, Utah Jazz Camps and Clinics, and other youth basketball initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in youth sports programming through event operations, community engagement, coaching support, and participant experience.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in planning and executing Lady Notes and Jazz Bantam events, leagues, and community activations.
- Support registration, communication, and participant experience for Lady Notes and Jazz Bantam.
- Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing youth basketball tournaments, leagues, and special events.
- Provide outstanding customer service to participants, families, coaches, and community partners via email, phone, and in person.
- Attend Lady Notes and Jazz Bantam events, games, etc. to assist with onsite logistics and event operations.
- Assist with the continued development and growth of the Lady Notes program by helping create positive and engaging basketball experiences for girls throughout Utah.
- Assist in planning future youth basketball programming, initiatives, and community events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Passion for youth sports and growing the game of basketball, especially for girls.
- Experience working with children in sports, recreation, education, or community programs preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Utah driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) screening in accordance with company policy and insurance requirements.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess situations.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
