This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Ingenious Med - Sales Executive based in the United States.
As a Sales Executive, you will drive new business growth while strengthening relationships with existing healthcare customers and partners. You’ll manage a sales territory, identify opportunities, and guide prospective clients through the full sales cycle from initial outreach to close. The role combines strategic business development with consultative selling in the healthcare technology space. You’ll engage senior decision-makers and demonstrate how technology solutions can improve operational performance, compliance, productivity, and financial outcomes. Working closely with account management, implementations, integrations, marketing, and customer success teams, you’ll help deliver a seamless customer experience. This is a remote opportunity with meaningful career growth potential and regular travel to meet customers and industry partners.
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, relationship building, referrals, and strategic business development activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities for account growth, renewals, referrals, and additional business.
- Manage an assigned sales territory according to an agreed strategy, prioritizing prospects and customer engagements to consistently achieve annual revenue goals.
- Own the sales process from prospecting through negotiation and close, addressing prospective customer questions and concerns while maintaining a positive experience.
- Master the product portfolio and effectively communicate solution value through presentations, proposals, demonstrations, and consultative conversations tailored to client needs.
- Present return on investment, operational impact, compliance benefits, and business value to senior healthcare executives, including CFOs, VPs, and Chief Medical Officers.
- Establish and maintain sales metrics, pipeline information, activity records, and other required documentation within the CRM.
- Collaborate closely with account management, implementation, integration, marketing, and customer success teams to support a consistent and effective customer experience.
- Attend and present at customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, and internal events to generate opportunities and strengthen industry relationships.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs, providing relevant insights and reports to support sales strategy.
- Plan and prioritize daily sales activities, customer contacts, travel, and time effectively to maximize productivity and meet agreed business objectives.
- Negotiate internally and externally using appropriate commercial and relationship-building approaches to close profitable business and establish sustainable customer partnerships.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned based on business needs.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational background.
- Bring 3–7 years of healthcare software sales experience, ideally with experience selling technology solutions to healthcare organizations.
- Have at least 1 year of experience using Salesforce CRM or a comparable customer relationship management platform.
- Demonstrate a strong track record in business development, prospecting, consultative selling, and managing a sales pipeline through to close.
- Be confident presenting complex business value, ROI, operational impact, compliance considerations, and technology solutions to senior-level healthcare decision-makers.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present persuasively and build credibility with executives and other stakeholders.
- Work effectively across departments and collaborate with account management, implementation, integration, marketing, and customer success teams.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and territory-management skills, with the ability to prioritize opportunities, manage time effectively, and consistently work toward sales targets.
- Be comfortable working independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with distributed teams.
- Be eligible to work and travel within the United States.
- Be willing to travel approximately 25–50% of the time for customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, and other business development activities.
- Base salary of $80,000–$103,000 USD, plus commission eligibility.
