Job Description

ThoughtSpot is a Data & AI platform that helps companies turn data into enterprise advantage. We're Gartner MQ leaders with more than 1,000 customers globally and offices in Mountain View, Chicago, London, Bangalore, Sydney, and Tokyo.

The Role:

ThoughtSpot is a Gartner Magic Quadrant leader in analytics and business intelligence, trusted by more than 1,000 customers worldwide. We have offices in San Francisco, Mountain View, Chicago, London, Bangalore, Sydney, and Tokyo.

ThoughtSpot started by giving people a better way to ask questions of their data. Spotter turned that into an AI analyst that reasons over governed enterprise data. Now our commercial motion has to take that same shift from static dashboards to natural-language, agentic answers and land it across every account in Rest of Europe.

ThoughtSpot's platform lets anyone ask a question in plain language and get a governed, real-time answer, then build on it across BI, embedded analytics, and code-first workflows. Unlike legacy BI tools that require an analyst to pre-build every report before a question can be answered, ThoughtSpot answers the question the moment it's asked.

We're looking for a commercial sales leader to own and grow Rest of Europe. You'll report into the Commercial Sales Director and lead a team of 5 account managers from day one, with the existing Rest of Europe customer base and the full ThoughtSpot commercial organization behind you. Based in London, hybrid.

Your Goal: Ramp your team of 6, build the retention and expansion playbook for Rest of Europe, and turn it into the model the wider commercial org scales from.

What You'll Do:
  • Own the ROE commercial team performance. You're accountable for the health and growth of every account in the region.
  • Lead your team of 5. Coach, ramp, and hold your account managers accountable to a clear bar. Empowerment plus accountability is how the team wins.
  • Build the regional playbook. Standardize how the ROE team runs renewals, expansion, and account planning across the region's markets.
  • Drive retention and expansion. Stand by your customers when they're struggling, not just when the numbers are up that's how long-term accounts get built.
  • Partner across the business. Work with the Commercial Sales Director, marketing, and product to bring regional signal back into how ThoughtSpot sells and supports Europe.
  • Be the voice of the region in commercial planning, forecasting, and pipeline reviews.

What You Bring:

  • Who We're Looking For This role comes with real ownership over the region and the team
  • You've led or been a senior individual contributor on an account management or commercial sales team
  • You know how to ramp and coach a team, not just carry your own number.
  • You treat commitments as binding to your team, your customers, and your director. No surprises, no excuses.
  • You build long-term relationships with customers rather than optimizing for the next quarter alone.
  • You're comfortable with ambiguity across a multi-market region and can build structure where none exists yet.
  • You communicate clearly and directly, and you're comfortable giving and receiving direct feedback.
  • You're commercially sharp you understand pipeline, forecasting, and how to read a book of business.
  • We value what you've built vs your title or years of experience
In-Office at ThoughtSpot

Spotters are expected in-office 3+ days per week to be part of the energy of their local team. Momentum compounds when we're in the room together with faster decisions, sharper problem-solving, and the kind of peer learning that doesn't happen over a screen. Being in-office is our default way of working, with flexibility available where it's genuinely needed.
