This field-based role places health, safety, and environmental performance at the heart of complex industrial project execution. You will act as the primary HSE reference on construction sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while actively shaping a proactive safety culture. The position involves close collaboration with project teams, contractors, and clients in high-risk environments, including high-voltage operations. You will contribute directly to the protection of personnel, the optimization of site performance, and the continuous improvement of HSE practices. The role combines hands-on site presence with analytical oversight, including incident investigation and performance monitoring. It offers the opportunity to influence behaviors, strengthen safety systems, and support large-scale technical projects. This is a highly impactful position within a dynamic, safety-driven environment.
- Support the development and implementation of Site HSE plans across construction and project phases.
- Act as the main HSE point of contact for site teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor, analyze, and report HSE KPIs and overall site safety performance.
- Ensure safe planning and execution of all site activities in line with regulations and company standards.
- Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety discussions, and promote proactive risk prevention practices.
- Drive continuous improvement of HSE culture and promote corporate safety programs and initiatives.
- Certification CNESST (CoSS) for construction sites or equivalent HSE accreditation.
- Diploma or certification in occupational health and safety (CSP, CIH, NCSO, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in HSE roles on complex construction or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, incident investigation methodologies, and risk management practices.
- Experience in high-voltage or electrical safety environments is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both French and English.
- Strong field presence with the ability to influence behavior and enforce safety standards.
